Situation in Noida Normal, Strict Action Against Miscreants: DGP Rajeev Krishna

Lucknow: Director General of Police Rajeev Krishna has issued a detailed statement regarding the recent incident in Noida, asserting that the situation is now completely under control and normalcy has been restored.

Addressing the media, the DGP said that all senior police officials are present on the ground and are continuously monitoring the situation. Authorities are maintaining constant communication, while closely tracking inputs received through social media and emergency helpline 112. “Immediate action is being taken on every piece of information,” he emphasized.

He further informed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has constituted a high-power committee to assess the situation. The committee visited the site, held detailed discussions with concerned stakeholders, and shared updates through a press conference late at night.

Highlighting the government’s stance, the DGP said that the administration remains sensitive towards workers and has taken prompt decisions in their interest. However, he also noted that certain groups attempted to incite unrest during the incident.

“Concrete evidence has been collected against those trying to disturb the atmosphere,” he said, adding that electronic data and CCTV footage have been secured as part of the investigation. Continuous action is being taken against the accused individuals.

Appealing for calm, the DGP urged workers to maintain peace and not fall prey to misinformation or provocation. “Maintaining law and order is a collective responsibility,” he stated, warning that strict action will be taken against those spreading unrest.
